About The Troupe

“…stop laughing, Mom!” is University of Hartford’s only (and best) Improv Comedy Troupe. We started in 2001 and have been going strong for seven seasons. Currently in our eighth, we hope to continue the tradition. We have won multiple awards from SGA (Student Government Association) such as the “Most Improved Club Award“, the “Communications Award” and “Club of the Year“. Bio: I am an Irish expatriate writer, widely considered to be one of the most influential writers of the 20th century. I am best known for my landmark novel Ulysses (1922) and its highly controversial successor Finnegans Wake (1939), as well as the short story collection Dubliners (1914) and the semi-autobiographical novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (1916).
